James C. Floyd, of Hallsville, passed away Friday night November 7, 2025, at Longview Regional Hospital.
James was born in Clarksville to John Corley and Ruey Mae Floyd. He was a Navy veteran and retired
from R. G. LeTournea, Inc. after 25 years. James was a member of Trails End Cowboy Church.
He married Vanita Williams March 6, 1964, in Long Beach, California.
James will be buried at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Boxelder Cemetery.
Clarksville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife Vanita Floyd, son, Quint Floyd, daughter, Angela Clark and husband, Troy, sister, Audrey Moore and brother, Corley Floyd.
He is also survived by grandchildren, Dallyce Sims, Grayson Floyd, Jenna Floyd, Ande Floyd and Corey Sims, great Grandchildren, Corbyn Sims, Carson Sims, Kaytlynn Clark, Kenzie Clark and Aubrey Hampton.
