Helen L. Rogers

Helen Lee Rogers, age 80, of New Boston, passed away, Friday, February 5, 2021, at St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana.  Mrs. Rogers was born April 28, 1940, in Avery to Onis and Ruth Kennedy.  She was retired from Nashville Trucking, loved cooking for her family and enjoyed fishing. Her husband, James Harold Rogers; daughter, Mashell Hill; sister, Pauline Potter; and a brother, Carlton Kennedy preceded her in death.

Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Avery Cemetery with Rev. Roy Ford officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Covid-19 regulations apply.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Allen and wife, Deanna of New Boston; step-son, Jimmy Rogers of Dallas; sisters, Geneva Spradlin of New Boston, Brenda Howland of New Boston, Joan Audas of Avery and Paula Tate of Arkansas; brother, James Kennedy of Avery, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
