Hays Doak Allston

Hays Doak Allston, or better known as "Hill Bill" age 90, of Boxelder, passed away Tuesday morning, January 2, 2024, in Allen, Texas

He was a native of Boxelder and a member of the Boxelder Methodist Church where he served as Treasurer for 20 years. Mr. Allston was also a member of the Boxelder Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed raising cattle. He served in the U.S. Navy. His wife, Nancy Rose Allston May 7, 2020; and parents, Robert and Verna Humphrey Allston preceded him in death.

Survivors are his son, Craig and wife, Josephine of Paris; and daughter, Vonda and husband, Curtis of Allen; grandchildren, Dakota, Abigail and Chloe.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Gilliam Cemetery with Rev. Dink Benton officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
