Glenis Hall Lewis, age 88, of Clarksville, passed away, Friday, October 28, 2022, in McKinney. Mrs. Lewis was born, January 16, 1934, in Sudan to Frank E. and Margaret Starkey Tull. She was retired from Red Kap Industries in Clarksville and was a member of the New Haven Missionary Baptist Church. Her parents; husbands, Bowers Hall and J.R. Lewis, four sisters, a half sister, one grandchild and one great grandchild preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Ray Hall and wife, Cheryl of Midlothian; daughters, Linda Winters of McKinney, Brenda (Stringer) Rodriguez and husband, Freddy of Clarksville, Glenda Ervin and husband, Larry Don of Clarksville and Cinda Trochesset of Carrolton; half brother, Frank Howell Tull and wife, Lawann of Georgetown; sister-in-law, Jane Hall, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m, Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at New Haven Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Tuggle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends and hour before service time at the church.
Pallbearers are Steven Stringer, Dylan Stringer, Lane Stringer, David Ervin, Devin Ervin, John Monkhouse and James Hall.
Honorary Pallbearers are Freddy Rodriguez, Larry Don Ervin and Hawar Milan.
