Gerald Knowles

Gerald Edward Knowles, age 77, of Bogata, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Titus Regional Medical Center.

Gerald was born February 3, 1944, in Bogata, to David and Lucille Preston Knowles. Gerald was an avid outdoors man. When he wasn’t hunting or fishing, he was working in his garden. Gerald was known for his tomatoes and strawberries as well as other various vegetables. Gerald loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and will be missed. Preceded him in death are his parents and 2 brothers; Robert Knowles and Billy Knowles.

Survivors include his son, Tony Dickson and wife, Mary of Blossom; his daughter, Margaret Cruise and husband, Charles of Bogata; 2 sisters, Penny Sanders of Arp and Patsy Dusembury and husband, George of Quitman; 4 grandchildren; Shaydie Meza, Garrett Morris, Jacob Thompson, Addison Cruise and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m at Cuthand Cemetery with Sister Ethel Elrod officiating. Burial will follow at Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Clarksville Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
