George Hollis Robertson

George H. Robertson born November 19, 1938, went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2021.  His wife Bettie of 52 years; his parents, Hartho Hollis and Rena Ruth Patrick Robertson;  twin brother James and brother Randall Robertson and nephews Chris, James Anthony and John Robertson preceded him in death.

George worked for the City of Dallas for 34 years retiring in 1997.  He and Bettie lived in Paris, Tx for many years.  They enjoyed taking day trips and visiting family and helping others.  After Bettie passed away, he relocated to Kemp, Tx to be near family.  He later moved to Richardson.  He enjoyed watching golf, football and other sports on TV.  He was a quite, kind person. George loved his family and Bettie’s.  He will be missed.

There will be no formal visitation.

Graveside services are set for 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021, at Avery Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Wages officiating.  Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Covid-19 regulations apply.

Survivors include his brother Clarence and wife, Charlotte Robertson of Richardson; sister, Pat Warren of Richardson; brother, Ronald and wife Lynn of Farmers Branch; sister, Dianna and husband Milton Herron of Somerset, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews.
