Frankie Shelby, age, 81, of the Negley Community, passed away, Monday, March 9, 2026, at Hospice of East Texas. Mrs. Shelby was born, January 19, 1945, in Tennessee to Clifford and Anna Browning Hall. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a great seamstress and enjoyed square dancing with her Husband, Dean. Her parents and a brother, Tommy Hall preceded her in death. Mrs. Shelby was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her Husband, Dean Shelby of Negley; her children, Donna Barker of Denton, Lonnie Ray Barker of Denton, Ronnie Barker of Pittsburg; her step children, Greg Shelby of Clarksville, Terri Snapka of Arlington and Deana Rehfeldt; her grandchildren, Rebecca Barber, Natalie Barker, Daniel Barker, Lea Barker, Catrenna Allbritton, Joshua Barker, Lauren Prince, Jeffery Skinner, Shelby Davisson, Jordan Snapka, Brandon Borde, Bryan Borde, Brittany Tatum, Cody Shelby, Kayla Fadzil and a bonus granddaughter, Macie Stringer, who she started baby-sitting when she was 6 months old, great grandchildren and a sister, Linda Hall of Tom Bean.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2026, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Tuggle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Greg Shelby, Steven Stringer, Dylan Stringer, Tommy Pryor, Jimmy Carson, Craig Fletcher and Glen Shelby.
