Frank Faulkner Obituary

Frank Edward Faulkner, age 89, of Clarksville, passed away, Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at his residence.  Mr. Faulkner was retired from the Gulf Cone and Cup Company.  He was born, April 14, 1931, in the Dimple Community of Red River County to Ocie and Nell Stringer Faulkner.  Frank married Loraine Gray on June 21, 1952, in Dallas.  His parents; 4 brothers, Douglas, James Ray, Charles Roy and Troy Dean “Buddy”; 2 sisters, Marie Strickler and Ovella Huddleston; and a daughter-in-law, Gail Faulkner all preceded him in death.  Mr. Faulkner was very active in community affairs.  He was a long time member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church and   former member of the Northwoods Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. and Mrs. Faulkner were very active with the Dimple Community Center.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Holt officiating.  Burial will follow in Jamison Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are: Cade Petty, Lee Hedrick, John Kelty, John Wilson, Ashton Myers, Josh Faulkner, Kasey Carson and Austin Myers.  Honorary pallbearers are: Blake Bishop, Darin Childres, Curtis Adams, James Luster, Bubba Stringer, Cab Wolf, Zachary Faulkner and Scott Gee.

Survivors include his wife, Loraine Faulkner of Clarksville; son, Mark Faulkner of Clarksville; daughter, Vicky Labbe and husband, Tom of Graham, sister, Ruby Nell Phillips; brothers, Thomas Wesley Faulkner and Sammy Faulkner; grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson, Scott Gee, Leigh Moralez and Zach Faulkner, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jamison Chapel Cemetery, C/O Phyllis Ross 1495 Hwy. 37 N. Clarksville, Texas 75426.
