Eva Mowery Jamison, age 92, of Clarksville, passed away, Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Jamison was born April 9, 1928, in Clarksville to Clarence and Corda Deviney Billingsley. She was a Longtime member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her in death are her parents; her first husband, William David Mowery; her second husband, Jimmy Jamison; 2 sisters, Norma Mowery and her twin, Christine Epps; and her great granddaughter, Megan Faith Minter. Mrs. Jamison loved playing Domino’s and 42 with her friends. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan and enjoyed reading, especially books by Nicholas Sparks.
Survivors include her son, Larry David Mowery and wife Marsha of New Braunfels, her daughters, Ann Fugler of Caddo Mills and Judy Minter and husband, Mickey of Detroit; her grandchildren, Allison Dudley, Kristen Albert, David Spradlin, Danny Spradlin, John Minter and Ashley Minter, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Ashley Minter, John Minter, David Spradlin, Danny Spradlin, Adam Minter, Eric Minter and Ryan Spradlin.
The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Covid-19 regulations apply.
