Dorothy Mae "Mutt" (Belcher) White, age 91, of Bogata, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
Mutt was born January 20, 1933, in Bogata to Herman and Jessie Ewing Belcher. She was a person of strong stature and believed that anything that she could do to help others would make her a better person. She was skilled in the arts of cooking, quilting, crafts, loved to organize her pictures, loved garage sales and just pure hard work. She was well known for her apricot and apple fried pies and loved to distribute them around the community. Mutt was strong with her family ties, giving love and care in any way she could. Her place in heaven was established a long time ago because of the life she led and the examples she set. Her lifelong wish was that her family find peace and contentment with each other in their lives. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Fred White and her brothers, Pete and Wesley Belcher.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Kennedy and husband, Robert of Bogata; her sister, Nancy Dugger of Deport; her grandchild, Kyle Kennedy and wife, Maria of Austin; 2 great grandchildren, Ethan Ortiz and Kameron Kennedy and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
