Donna Robinson

Donna Lynn Allen Robinson died on February 1, 2025 at Focused Care in Clarksville.  She was born on July 3, 1951, in Clarksville to Alice Joyce Fowler Allen and James William Allen.  She was a descendant of pioneer Red River County families.

Donna attended schools in Sherman and Clarksville and graduated from Clarksville High School in 1969.  She worked at the First National Bank in Bogata and at Red River Haven Nursing Home in Bogata for many years before working at the Edward Jones Investment office in Clarksville for over twenty years.

Donna was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville.  She was a Ruling Elder, served as Treasurer and Clerk of the Session for many years, as well as being a loyal member of the choir.  She also served on the Board of the Red River County Historical Society, serving as Secretary.

Donna was an accomplished horsewoman in her early years, helping to gather and work cattle.  She excelled in her organizational skills at work, at her church, and at home.  She enjoyed conversation and her laughter brought joy to those around her.  She enjoyed cooking and was always happy to prepare any wild game that Aaron brought home to cook.

She was predeceased by her parents, her stepfather Bob Adair, and her brother Gerry Allen.  She is survived by her son Aaron Robinson and his wife Dee of Clarksville, her grandson Jace Robinson of Circleville, Kansas and her nephew Randy Allen.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville with the Rev. Don Shovan officiating.
