Donna Casper

Donna Gail Tippit Strunk, surrounded by her loving family at home, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 19, 2026, following a brief battle with cancer. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Donna was born on February 24, 1965, in Paris, Texas, to Harrell Tippit and Anita Hurley Tippit. She graduated from Paris High School in 1983, she was in the blazettes and FFA during her high school years. Donna spent 4 years as a customer service specialist at TCIM. She then dedicated many years of service to Lazer Logistics in Paris before her retirement in 2024.

Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and friend who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and her beloved fur babies. She had a special love for the simple pleasures of life; tending to her flowers and caring for her chickens and ducks at her home in Clarksville. Donna was the definition of a hobbyist and jack of all trades. She collected dolls, shoes, and antiques. She was a fast learner, all she needed was a recipe or a video explaining how to do something, and she learned it. Donna would upcycle anything she could find in a flea market, paint the face of dolls, hem clothes, landscape, and repair things around the house.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger Strunk; her daughters, Kasey Casper, Courtney Hignight, and Skylar Doescher, all of Clarksville, Texas. Her grandsons, Caden and Trae Hignight of Paris, Texas along with Payton Finley of Barling, Arkansas. Her sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Mike Redus of Paris, Texas.

The family would like to thank those who visited and helped during her last few days, as well as the nurses at Elara Caring.
