Don Duffee

Mr. Dalton Don Duffee, age 58 (known to his family and friends as Don), gained his wings on Monday, May 10th,2021,in Greenville, MS, following a long battle with diabetes and heart disease.                                            

Don was born September 26th, 1962 in Clarksville, Texas to Sue Duffee Wiley and the late Dalton Duffee. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed working with his hands and had amazing carpentry skills. He was employed by Circle H Farms as a rice farmer.         

Don was preceded in death by his father Dalton Duffee; stepfather Hubert Wiley; grandparents Cliff Bruner, Eulalah Fields, Gilbert Duffee and Alma Duffee; one sister, Andra Kay Duffee; brother-in-law, John McGuire.    

He was survived by his daughter, Ashley Thompson and husband Strehle; mother, Sue Wiley; sisters, Sandra Joyner and husband Burt, Jeannie McGuire, Arnita Cavender and husband Rickey; special friends, Jimmie Dale Billy and Billy Don Skies; 3 grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.   

Memorial services will be held at  1 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Annona First Baptist Church, in Annona with Pastor Deannie Lambert officiating.
