Diana Lynn McGuire

Diana Lynn McGuire, age 77, of Clarksville, passed away, Monday, November 13, 2023, surrounded by her family. Diana was born, April 3, 1946, in Clarksville to William Byron and Ola Mae Monkhouse Duren.  Her parents; son, Raegan McKinney; brothers, M.A. Bud Duren, Billy Mac Duren, John L. Duren and an infant brother, William Ray Duren all preceded her in death.

She was employed with ETMC and later retired from Dr. Kumar’s office in Clarksville.  Diana may have only been 5 foot tall but she had her CDL’s and drove many miles with her husband, Bill hauling cows! She loved being in that truck with him.  If you knew her, you probably knew her opinion as well, including all of her family.  None of us were exempt. Diana was a lifelong member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bill McGuire of Clarksville.  They were married in May of 1969; son, Layne McKinney and wife, Betty of Annona; daughter, Kristi Puckett and husband, Blaine of Clarksville; sister, Alma Johnson of Paris; grandchildren, Devin Puckett and wife, Jamie, Zackery Puckett and girlfriend, Raven James, Brandon McKinney and Gracie McKinney and 1 great granddaughter on the way. 

Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Hopewell Cemetery with Craig Fletcher officiating.  Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
