Dennis Earl Franks

A memorial service will be held for Dennis Earl Franks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Aikin Grove Cemetery, 3042 FM 910, Clarksville, Texas, with Pastor Brian McCormick officiating. A lunch reception will follow at Temple Baptist Church, 303 N. Short Street, Clarksville, Texas.

Dennis Earl Franks was born April 18, 1951 in Bogata, Texas. He had been a resident of Gladewater, formerly living in Clarksville. He worked in construction, and loved to be on the lake catching fish or watching the races.

Dennis passed away at the age of 69 on August 2, 2020 in Longview. He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Franks; mother, Lucy Franks; and brother, Wayne Franks.
Survivors include his five children, Thomas Franks, Carla Ringener, Carolyn Franks, Chris Franks, and James Franks; brother, Eugene Franks; sister, Eva Gibson; twin sister, Joann Seiber; four grandchildren, Jessica Noriega, Travis Noriega, Jared Franks, and Jasmine Leatch; and many nieces and nephews he dearly loved.
