Deanie Floyd

Agnes Earldene “Deanie” Floyd, age 98, of the Boxelder Community, passed away, Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Focused Care of Clarksville. Mrs. Floyd was born, June 10, 1924, in the Boxelder Community to Ernie and Neal Boze Fogleman. She married James Darwin Floyd on January 26, 1945. Deanie loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Salem Baptist Church and Boxelder Community for over 90 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life and especially enjoyed attending their sporting events. Her husband, Darwin Floyd, 2 sisters and 2 brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, James Floyd and wife, Sharon of Boxelder; 2 daughters, Jan Cornell and husband, Larry of Boxelder and Joan Kay of College Station; grandsons, Jay Kay, Lance Cornell, Dean Floyd and Zach Cornell; granddaughters, Jana Green, Salena Gaddis and Sherry Montgomery; great grandsons, Matthew Stanley, Austin Gaddis, Colby Cornell, Eric Floyd and Cooper Kay; great granddaughters, Emily Williams, Kingsley Kay, Shelby Stanley, Keely Cornell, Callan Cornell, Jill Blair, Averie Cornell and Rayln Floyd.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Dickey officiating. Burial will follow in Boxelder Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Jay Kay, Lance Cornell, Dean Floyd, Zach Cornell, Matthew Stanley, Austin Gaddis, Colby Cornell, Eric Floyd and Cooper Kay.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the church.
