Dale Webb

Leonard Dale Webb, age 83, of Avery, passed away Monday January 12, 2026, at his residence.

Dale was born October 16, 1942, in Clarksville to Tommie and Verna Carnes Webb. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Tallas Webb and his parents.

He is survived by his daughter Kelli Webb Fleissner and husband Curt of Flower Mound, and one granddaughter, Shelby Rose also from Flower Mound. Several cousins and very special neighbors, Michael and Beth Coughran

Dale will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, his love of riding backroads and cold Coors Light. Dale grew up in West Texas where he graduated from Crosbyton High School in 1961. After High School he attended Texas Tech for a short period of time.  Dale drove a truck for most of his life and traveled many miles all over the United States. He retired from Red River Army Depot after twenty plus years of service. After retirement he still worked as a gravel truck driver and occasionally drove a charter bus to places he loved like New Orleans.

In his younger years Dale was an avid dancer and could three step like no other. He and his buddy Morris Trimm loved to follow the PBR. They traveled to the 4 states area going to rodeos, meeting and having a cold one with the riders. He also loved going to the deer camp and playing poker with the guys.

Dale loved spending his Saturdays with his buddy John Holloway, talking and reminiscing about the good old days. He loved his family and friends. His daughter and granddaughter were his whole world.

Funeral services are set for 1:00 PM, Saturday January 17, 2026, in the Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Deanie Lambert officiating.  An informal visitation will be Friday evening for whoever would like to come and pay their respects. The family will receive friends 30 min before the service at the chapel. Internment will follow in the Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Brett Florez, Andy Householder, KD Parnell, Boyd Harvey, Curly Russ and Walt Puteet.

 Honorary Pallbearers are John Holloway, Travis Holloway, Gearl Webb, Michael Coughran, Robert Dean, Jason Lambert and Charles Godwin.
