Dakota Ward

Dakota Ward, age 26 of Bogata, passed away, Wednesday, May 26, 2021, in Arlington, Texas.  Dakota was born June 7, 1994, in Mt. Pleasant to Steve and Brandy Whitaker Ward.  He was a great mechanic and loved playing a keyboard.  His mother; and grandmother, Mary Lewis preceded him in death.

There will be a memorial service and viewing from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home.  Bro. Brad Moody will officiate.

Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his father, Steve Ward and wife, Jeanene of Bogata; grandmother, Janie Pollock and husband, Jack of Avery; sister, Morgan Williams and husband, Cody of Bogata; 3 step-sisters, April Jones and husband, Erick of Allen, Jessica Sweat of Bogata and Tosha Dickerson and husband, T.J of Reno; brother, Larry Paul Ward of Avery, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
