Clarence Ray Garrison, 88 years old, was born June 7, 1937 in Annona, Texas. Clarence was a true son of the West who rode his final trail on March 13, 2026. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lula Mae Sheppard Garrison of Annona. His son, Samuel David Garrison (Sammy) of Garland, his brothers Tinnie and Ann Lowe Garrison of Clarksville, David Garrison of Conroe, and his Sister Virginia Garrison Denny and husband Ray Denny of Mesquite.
He is survived by his ex-wife Patsy Conine Garrison, one Son, Ted Garrison of Clarksville, 1 daughter Cindy Garrison Rhoten and husband Barry Rhoten of Tom Bean. One brother, Lee and Kathy Garrison of Clarksville, and 3 sisters, Bettye McFerrin, Lillie Duncan, and Kathy Cooper all of Paris, Texas. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Kathy Garrison officiating.
He lived a long and happy life. God speed Clarence. You’ve found peace in the greatest range of all.
