Charles “Pot” Edward York, age 76, of Lydia, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Focused Care of Clarksville. Mr. York was born, February 15, 1944, in Clarksville to Alford and Mary Robinson York. He was a successful air conditioning and heating business owner until 1988, when he and his family moved back to Lydia. He then established a construction business along with being a farmer and rancher. His parents; and his two brothers, Gerald Mac York and James L. York preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Provins York of Lydia, two sons, James “Rowdy” York and wife, Shelia of Lydia and David York and wife, Michelle of Houston; one daughter, Stacy Drennon and husband, David of De Kalb; ten grandchildren, Anastasia Allen, Wyatt Allen, Reagan Drennon, Maddie Drennon, Alex York, Melissa Gilliland, Lacricia Sanders, Nicole Gray, Robert Easterling and Ashley Easterling, nine great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
