Carolyn Jean Kimbriel, age 77, of Avery, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her residence. Carolyn was born, October 7, 1948, in Avery to Marvin Gleen and Lydia Deaton Estes. She was a 1967 graduate of Avery High School. Carolyn retired from the Texarkana Texas Police Department and was their first female dispatcher. She attended the Avery Methodist Church and was a member of the Avery Eastern Star.
Survivors include her uncle, Tiimon Deaton and wife, Marsha of Avery and stepson, Louis Kimbriel and wife, Linda of Atlanta, cousins, Brad Deaton and wife, Heather, Jill Estes and husband, Thomas, Robbie Edsel and Michael Edsel, her beloved dog, Sassy, special caregiver, Linda Kimbriel and special friend, Sandy Eubanks
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Deanie Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are David Grigg, Sammy Lambert, Brad Deaton, Tommy Estes, David Rust and Connie Putteet.
The family would like to thank the Doctor's and staff of Hospice of Texarkana.

The family will receive friends before service time on Wednesday.
