Carol Yvonne English

 
Carol Yvonne Williams English was born October 19, 1949, to Lewis Williams  and Lorene Elizabeth Mays and slipped into the arms of Jesus November 12, 2021, surrounded by her family and friends.  On April 24, 1967, she married the love of her life, John Lloyd  English Sr. Carol loved life and her family was very important to he. Most of all she loved the Lord. Carol was a Registered Nurse for many years and only retired because she was afraid that Covid would hurt her. Her most recent job was serving Nexion Health as an Interim Director of Nursing.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Lewis Williams and Lorene Elizabeth May; grandson, John Andrew Castle; great grandson, Hayden Ryan Castle; and brother Bobby James Williams. Carol is survived by her children John Lloyd English, Jr. and wife, Faye of Bogata, Jessica Castle and husband, Jimmy of Bogata; Lillian Watkins and husband, Anthony of Deport and Buddy and Misty McMikel of Paris. Her grandchildren; Nikki English, John Lloyd English III and Tia English, Dakota and Tyler English, Kayla and Kaleb Carico, Amber and Brad Nevins, Aaron and Nidia Whitney, Chris and Kristen Castle, Caleb Castle, Kaitlyn and Charles Landers, Wesley Watkins, Jaxon and Jemma Castle, Trista and Bobby Spiva. and Kelvin Petty. Great grandchildren; Kayden Skaggs, Daniel McDonald, Nicholas and Anna Castle, Hunter and Austin McDonald,  Brilee, Messer, and Rowdy John Carico, Zachary and Stefan Whitney, Addie Castle, Stella, Elizabeth, and Jayden Nevins, Kyler and Bristol Landers; her canine companion, Peanut English. Brothers and sisters; Betty Williams (Bobby), Joyce Tolison, Annette and Charles Skaggs, Mack and Helen Williams, and Coletta McMikel and a  host of nieces and nephews.

On behalf of the family we ask that if you don't know our Lord and Saviour that you please join in our family circle as John and Carol will be waiting on all of us by the river. We would like to thank the amazing nurses with Platinum Hospice for your care for our mom and for every person that took time to care for our mom at home.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Bogata with Rev. Jeff Duvall and Rev. Ryan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Bogata Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Chris Castle, Aaron Whitney, Wesley Watkins, John Lloyd English III, Dakota English and Daniel McDonald.

Honorary Pallbearers are Kaden Skaggs, Nicholas Castle, Zachary Whitney, Messer Carico, Rowdy Carico, Jaxon Castle and Kyler Landers.
