Boyce Tull

Boyce Tull, age 86 years & 11months, of Clarksville, Texas, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, August 14, 2023.

He was born September 12, 1936, in Clarksville to Robert H. and Florence Wood Tull. He accepted Jesus as his Savior as a young boy, and grew up in the Dimple community.  He married Betsy Farley on March 3, 1956. He retired from ETMC in Clarksville in 1999. Boyce enjoyed traveling with Betsy in their RV, woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was a deacon at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Tull and J.B. Tull, and his parents.

He is survived by his wife Betsy, one daughter Lisa Cornelius and husband Bobby of Clarksville; one son Michael Boyce Tull and wife Sandra of Paris; two grandchildren Amy Devine and husband Greg of Lake Jackson, Texas; and Kristin Low and husband Matt of Clarksville; two step-grandchildren Brian Anderson of Paris, and Brandy Lawson and husband Stephen of  Brookston;  11 great-grandchildren: Dale, Alan Boyce, Tyler, Brooklyn, Daniel and Levi Devine; Logan, Wyatt, and Nora Low, and Jacob and Madison Lawson, and by his twin sister Joyce Stevens and husband Joe of Houston. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Black and Rev. Greg Devine officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
