Bobby Hines Obituary

Bobby D Hines, age 90, of Clarksville, went to be with our Lord and Savior Friday June 21, 2024. He was born on January 9th, 1934 in Red River County to Garland and Rachel Broomfield Hines. He joined the National Guard as a teenager and served for 9 years as a medic. Bobby married the love of his life, Pansy Garrett, on October 29th, 1954. They were married for 68 wonderful years. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, where he served as a deacon. He loved the Lord with all his heart and had a burden for lost souls to be saved. He witnessed to so many people over his lifetime.
Bobby loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to fish and spent many hours on the lake catching crappie. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, which was always beautiful and bountiful. God blessed him with so many skills in his life.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy; his parents; his stepmother, Martha Jane Hines; his great-granddaughter, Madeleine Jones; his brothers, Billy Ray Hines, Ernest Kilmer, Kenneth Hines and David G. Hines and his sister, Lorene Hines.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Hines, Dianne McIntire and husband Danny, David Hines and wife Teresa, Dale Hines and wife Camille, Danny Hines and wife Jessica; his grandchildren, Kristin Rowden and husband Eric, Matt Keller, Casey Keller and wife Shelly, Bryan McIntire, Anita McIntire, Kaylee Faulkner and husband Dakota, Rachyl Bartley, Ashley S. Hines, Aric Hines and wife Krystal, Ashley N. Hines, Marli Conway and husband Gus; his great-grandchildren, Alex, Liam, Luke, Keylie, Hayden, Sydney, Tyce, David, Blake, Abel, Tucker, Ethan, Cadence, Tristan, Kenzye, Sierra, Lukas, Harper, Evan, Oliver, Asher, Kashtyn, Montanna and a great-granddaughter on the way; his brothers, Doug Hines and wife Joan,
G.A. Hines and wife Corene, sisters Irene Hines and Madge Harris.

Graveside Services are 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Lanes Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Mike Black officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Bill Boggs, Rocky Brown, Dallas Dobbins, Roy (Bubba) Ervin, Todd Hines and Sammy Puckett. Honorary Pallbearers are the men of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
