Bobby Francis Belt, age 90, of Avery, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Mr. Belt was born, January 14, 1930, in Bowie County to Bob and Mae Caldwell Belt. Bobby was a member of the Pinkham Missionary Baptist Church and served in U.S. Army. He married Elaine Hardman on August 12, 1950 in Avery and was retired from the Red River Army Depot.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2020, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly Brian, Rev. Brian Finn and Jim Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Belt of Avery; 3 sons, Neil Belt and wife, Kathie of Paris, Bruce Belt and wife, Cindy of Tyler and Kevin Belt and wife, Denise of Colmesneil; 2 daughters, Jolene Jackson and husband, Jim of Tyler, Laurice Marshall and husband, Lynne of Longview; 1 sister, Juanez Stiltz of DeKalb; grandchildren, Jennifer Jackson, Jordan Beall and husband Jordan, Joelle Jackson, Patrick Belt and wife, Melody, Chelsea Dodson and Gary Vilijoen, Tanner Belt and wife, Alexis, Hannah Landers and husband, Zach, Chase Belt and wife, Haley, Tyler Belt, Jennifer Norman and husband, Blake, Brittney Bailey and husband, Zach, Haleigh Belt and Morgan Belt; great grandchildren, Brayden Jackson, Ryleigh Jackson, Jackson, Beall, Jacob Lee and wife, Alexis, Brianna Lee, Emily Belt, Jaxlea Belt, Parker Belt, Josiee Belt, Brentson Belt, Kendalyn Russell, Clayton Norman, Ava Underwood and Avery Underwood; great-great grandchildren, Dakota Lee, Haven Lee and Katherine Belt.
Pallbearers are, Tyler Belt, Chase Belt, Tanner Belt, Morgan Belt, Jordan Beall, Zach Landers, Gary Vilijoen, Blake Norman and Patrick Belt.
