Bobbie Fay Thompson

Bobbie Fay Tate Thompson was born in Bagwell, on May 16, 1939, to Bernice and Robert (Bob) Tate of Bagwell. She married the love of her life. Jerry Thompson on September 13, 1958. Together they had three sons, Jerry (Butch), Richard, Tommy and a daughter Chris. Bobby was secretary at the Red River County Extension Office for 20 years. She enjoyed everything outdoors. Camping and fishing were her favorite things to do. She loved her grandchildren and precious Rascal. She was also a beloved member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Thompson, two sons, Tommy and Richard Thompson and a grandson, Tommy Thompson. 

She is survived by her son, Butch and wife, Chrissy Thompson & daughter Chrystal Patton, nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Fletcher, Mattie and husband, James Griggs, and Eva Reed.

Funeral services are 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 19, 2025, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Bush officiating.  Burial will follow in Tuggle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be Thursday night from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at Clarksville Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers are Damien Carrasco, John Hawley, Cody Thompson, Coty Townes, Coben Stewart, Bryson Townes and Talon Townes.
