Billy Jack Wright, age 82, of Detroit passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at his residence.
Billy was born August 18, 1943, in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Jack and Louis Self Wright. Billy served as the chief of police in Henderson County and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his son, Clinton Rafe Wright of Detroit, Texas; his daughter, Georgia Wright Bonnett of Frisco, Texas; his sisters, Syble Murphy and Sherry Webb and 5 grandchildren, Ashley Ingram, Braden Bonnett, Alexandra Bonnett, Micah Wright and Jacob Wright.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
