Betty Whitaker

Betty Whitaker, age 88 of Bogata, passed away, Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 at Paris Regional Medical Center. She was born in Deport to Albert and Bell Gurley Brumbalow on June 2, 1932. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Luther Whitaker, 2 children; Genieve Duffey and Ernest Whitaker, an infant granddaughter; Corrina Whitaker and her brothers and sisters.

Betty was a Nurse, she worked at Bogata Nursing Home and worked in home health for over 40 plus years. She loved her family very much.

Survivors include her sons; Donnie Whitaker and Jimmy Whitaker , her daughter; Nelda Whitaker; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren all of Bogata and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service set for Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Turner Cemetery in Fullbright with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends one hour before service at the cemetery.
