Betty Wester Obituary

Betty Lynn Wester , 76, passed peacefully in her sleep on March 16, 2022,. She was born to H.B. Reed and Ruby Reed in Dallas, Texas on January 09, 1946.

She married Danny Wester on June 29, 1968, just 6 months after a blind date set up by Donny Parish. They moved to Bulverde, Texas where she spent her days painting, laughing, and loving. She was a stay at home mother to their 3 children, Dana Higginbotham, Kristi Wester Courtney (Donald Courtney), Jeff Wester (Rachael Wester). She is also survived by her brother, Richard Reed (Shirley Reed) 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. They later moved to Avery, Texas in 1995. She continued her passion of art, running a small business with her friend and sister-in-law Sandy Wester, making Santa Clauses. They were loved by everyone in the community. This is where she spent the rest of her life, enjoying hosting, cooking, and family visits. Betty was Baptized at the Meneely Memorial Presbyterian Church. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jimmy Reed.

Betty Wester was an amazing woman, she cared deeply about all of the people in her life. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to meet her. We are thankful she is no longer in pain.
