Bennie Frank Rust, age 87, of Annona, passed away, July, 21, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Rust was born, June 6, 1935, in Shawnee Prairie Community to Mavery Earl and Mary Marie Hays Rust. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Cherry Rust; 3 brothers, Jack, Billy and James; and 2 sisters, Edna and Tootsie. Bennie was a carpenter.
Survivors include 2 sons, Mike and Debbie Rust of Avery and Kevin and Trish Rust of Gladewater; 2 daughters, Sheila Rust of Annona and Vicky and Mark Hill of Hooks; 3 sisters, Bobbie Yeager of Dallas, Sue Puckett of Annona and Myrna Murphy of Avery; 2 brothers, Gearld and Jerry Rust of Avery and Joe Dee and Karen Rust of Avery, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Mills of Bagwell; brother-in-law, Jobe and Trudy Green of Foreman, Arkansas; aunt, Johnnie and Benny Brazier of Kerns; and a special cousin, Hugh Hutson, Jr. of Avery.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements and under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
