Barbara Ann Means

Barbara Ann Means, age 73, of Detroit, passed away, Monday, December 11, 2023, at her residence.  Mrs. Means was born, January 15, 1950, in Clarksville to James Riley and Bessie Pruitt Chesshire.  She was a member of the Bagwell Baptist Church.  She married Jerry Means on September 7, 1977, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Gena White and Jennifer Means of Detroit; brother, Vance Chesshire of Arkansas, honorary grandchildren, Jordon, Tanner and Hannah Day and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 16, 2023, at the Bagwell Baptist Church with Rev. Karl Bush officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Vance Chesshire, James Chesshire, Wayne Stafford, David Day, Tanner Day and James Barton.

Visitation will be Friday night from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.
