Annette L. McGregor

Annette Lee McGregor, age 78, of Boxelder, passed away, Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at her residence. Mrs. McGregor was born, November 3, 1942, in Pace, Mississippi to Jessie and Velma Hodge Thornhill. Annette was retired from the Allen Independent School District. She was a Minister and loved her family and church family. Annette enjoyed living and working on the family farm in Boxelder. Her parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services are set for 10;00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021, at the Spirit of Life Church in Boxelder with Rev. Ray McGregor and Buddy Calloway officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside View Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Donnie Chapin, Mike York, Branden Bayless, Tony McGregor, Brian McGregor, B.J. Garrett, Brandon Hendricks and Jake Eastman.

The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Spirit of Life Church.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Ray McGregor of Boxelder; sons, Donnie Chapin and wife, Debby of Garland, Tony McGregor of Annona, David Chapin of Annona and Brian McGregor and wife, Kandi of Annona; daughters, Elizabeth Romine and husband, Philip, Kim York and husband, Mike of Mexia and Janet Marie Ethridge and husband, Bobby of Livingston; brothers, Jack Thornhill and wife, Rena of Arizona and Charles Thornhill of Arizona; sisters, Patricia of Arizona and Betty of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Chris Chapin, Branden Bayless, Melina Waldren, Kristi Lobb, Misty Bayless, Mindy Bayless, Jennifer McGregor, Elisha McGregor, Georgia McGregor, Bonnie Garrett, Clayton Farmer, Brandon Hendricks, Sabrina Tompson, Maddie Hardisson, Jake Eastman, Billy Ray Eastman and Tony Clay. 17 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
