Vera Carleen (Wortham) Ervin

Vera Carleen Clark Ervin age 88, born July 7, 1931, to Wilce and Ethel Courtney Wortham, passed from this life to be with Jesus on November 23, 2019, at Clarksville Nursing Center.

Carleen lived and raised a family in Detroit, Texas before moving to Clarksville where she worked at Self Service on the downtown square, then at Wal Mart for 21 years.  Carleen was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Paris, Texas.  She was preceded in death b her parents; 2 brothers, Alton and Steve Wortham and a step grandson, Jimmy Hayden Clark.

The family will have visitation Tuesday, November 26, 2019, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00p.m. under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

She is survived by her sister, Vernice Smith of Texarkana; 2 daughters, Carolyn Clark and husband R.C. of Clarksville and JoAnn Freyer and husband, Jeff of Clarksville; her son, Billy Clark and wife, Karen of Paris; 6 grandchildren, Amy Clark, Kenneth Clark, Jonathan Freyer and wife, Stacy, Carla Clark, Randall Clark and wife, Berna, Kimberly Burris and Hunter Burris and 6 great grandchildren, Hailey Bryant, Raelyn Burris, Landon Clark, Madison Clark, Hayden Clark and London Clark.
