Bobby Northcutt

Bobby Northcutt, age 64 of Avery, passed away, Friday August 22, 2008, at a Texarkana Hospital.

Bobby was born in Red River County on March 6, 1944 to Grover and Maggie Baird Northcutt.  He was retired from Annona Manufacturing, a member of the Avery Assembly of God Church, loved camping, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services are set for 1:00 Monday, August 25, 2008 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Wilson Weed and Floyd McMillan officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 4:00 until 6:00 Sunday afternoon at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Ellington Northcutt of Avery.  They were married in Red River County on April 5, 1974; adopted daughter, Lisa Edwards of Avery; adopted grandsons, Ethan and Logan Edwards of Avery; sisters, Lela Wells of Clarksville, Nell Bishop and husband Fuzz of Clarksville, Robbie Rhea and husband H.B. of Annona, Louise Simmons of Avery; brothers, Enos Northcutt and Susan of Avery, E.G. Northcutt of Avery, Jimmie Northcutt and wife Billie of Bogata; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers are John Blackburn, J.R. Smith, Buck Bullard, Fuzz Bishop, Bobby Baird, Bobby Freeman.  Honorary Pallbearers are Ethan and Logan Edwards.
