Arthur Jay Chapman
Arthur Jay Chapman, age 71 of Ft. Worth and formerly of Red River County, passed away, Sunday, August 17 in a Ft. Worth Hospital.
Arthur was born on September 11, 1936 in Red River County to Arthur and Jo Bledsoe Chapman. He was retired from the Lockhead Company, served in the U.S. Marines and of the Presbyterian Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Jo Bledsoe Chapman; wife, Martha Chapman; son Jay Chapman.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 20, at 2:00 p.m. in Madras Cemetery with the Rev. Lew Stokes officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include a host of family and friends and his best friend, Buster Boo.
