Mary Helen Wilburn
Mary Helen Wilburn, age 85, of Avery, passed away, Friday, August 15, 2008 in Regency Nursing Center.
She was born on March 9, 1923 in Red River County to John Andrew and Cora Beatrice Covington Lawler. She was a longtime member of the Avery Church of Christ and was retired from General Telephone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Earl Wilburn; sisters, Hazel Ailene Ward and Winona Margarite Peek; brothers, Haskell and Herman Lawler; niece, Mary Lee Bryant Cotton.
Graveside services will be Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in Savannah Cemetery with David Ingram and Jack Dodson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include two brothers, Don Lawler and wife Naomi of Clarksville, John Veman Lawler and wife Karen of Riverside, CA; sister, Elnora Bryant of Greenville; seven nephews; two nieces; several great nieces and nephews; many loving and caring friends.
