Marla Kay Rust Christophersen
Marla Kay Rust Christophersen, age 31 of Avery, passed away, Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at her residence.
Marla was born in Paris on February 20, 1977 to Gerald and Margie Phelps Rust. She was a member of the Avery United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her father, Gerald Rust and wife Jerry of Avery; mother, Margie Rust of Avery; daughter, Haley Christopherson of Avery; brother, David Rust and wife Sondra of Avery; MeMama, Valarie Presley of Avery; three step-brothers; one step-sister; nephew, Samuel Rust of Avery; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McCain and David Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday night from 6 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Aaron Jackson, Michael Jackson, Ranson Pipes, Brandon Pipes, Dustin Green and Shawn Shelton. Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Phelps, Bruce Duncan, Billy Hembree, Jerry Robinson and Dean McPeak.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Marla’s name has been opened at the Red River Federal Credit Union 1501 W. Main, Clarksville, Texas 75426.
