David E. Anderson
David E. Anderson, age 77 , of Annona, passed away, Monday, August 04, 2008, in Paris Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Anderson was born April 23, 1931 in Pollock to Silas Paul and Leona Jane Singleton Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a retired Houston Fireman. He also had a Bull Dozing service here in Red River County. He was a member of the Pollock 1st Baptist Church, Paris V.F.W. Post # 3990, and was a Sargeant with the 21st Infantry in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Anderson on April 19, 2002 and a brother, Wallace Anderson.
Survivors include his daughter, Jeanie McCracken and husband John of Annona; grandchildren, John David McCracken and wife Lauren of Houston, Cheree Billett and husband Joshua of Humble; sister, Frances Schisser of Pasadena; brothers, Charles of Lufkin, George of Waelder, Arthur Lee of Houston.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Lanes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Thursday night from 6 to 7 at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are; John David McCracken, John McCracken, Joshua Billett, George, Mike and Arthur Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers are; Charles Anderson, Tony Schisser, Charlie Unsell, and Bobby Brem.
