Annie Bernice Capps
Annie Bernice Capps, age 101 of Clarksville, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, in Clarksville Nursing Center.
She was born in the Cuthand Community of Red River County on March 21, 1907 to T.D. and Mary Mauldin Latimer. She was a member of the McKenzie Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Mann Capps; son, David Capps; sister, Delana Latimer; 4 grandsons and 1 great-grandson.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 3, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Lew Stokes officiating. Burial follows in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Roy Gerald Capps and wife Ruby of Clarksville; 2 daughters, Trullas Howland of Eldorado AR, and Mildredge Taylor of Clarksville; 10 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are; Kyle Capps, Steven Capps, Aaron Capps, Brian Capps, Kristropher Capps, Bobby Tucker.
