Helen Flournoy
Helen Flournoy, age 88 of Red River County, died Wednesday, July 09, 2008, in Sunny Acres Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 11, at 11:00 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Thursday night from 6 to 7 at the funeral home.
She was born on September 10, 1919 in Silvester to Johnny and Bertie Baker Mason.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Flournoy and a daughter, June Flournoy. She loved singing.
Survivors include a son, Forest Flournoy of Avery; daughter, Fern Posey of DeKalb; brother, Lambert Mason of Virginia; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
