Milton Minter
Milton Minter, age 87 of Annona, passed away, Saturday, July 5 in Clarksville Nursing Center.
His wife, Mildred Minter preceded him in death on April 2, 2000.
He was born on July 19, 1920 in Red River County, to Van and Gracie Baird. He was a retired rancher.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Minter and wife Gail of Clarksville, Mickey Minter and wife Judy of Detroit and Rickey Minter of Annona; sisters, Mureline Cheyne of Boxelder, Ruby Jean Ogletree of Farmers Branch; grandchildren, Ashley, John, Keith, Monica and Wesley Minter; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Salem Baptist Church in Boxelder with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Visitation will be Monday night from 6 to 7 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are; Pop Bivins, Leon Baird, Jr, Jimmy Alsup, Nick Baird, Danny and Kenneth Henderson. Honorary Pallbearers are; J.P. Harvey, David Davidson, Aaron Perkins, Bob Storey, Ben Storey, Elmer Caton, David White, Gary Eubanks and Jerry Robinson. Burial will be in Boxelder Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
