Mary Virginia Earley

Mary Virginia Earley, age 81 of Clarksville, died Sunday, July 06, 2008 in Regency Nursing Center.

She was preceded in death by an infant child, Keith Stanley Early.

She was born on December 30, 1926 to James E. and Rosa Sinclair Holley in Red River County.  She worked for Black Brothers Coca-Cola Bottling Company.  She was involved in the family farming/ranching operation while being actively involved with community, school, and sports activities that involved children.  As a member of the First Baptist Church she spent many hours teaching and working with young people. Virginia enjoyed life, loved people, and enriched the lives of those she touched.

Funeral services for Mrs. Earley are scheduled for Tuesday, July 8 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Gossett officiating.  Visitation is Monday night from 6 to 7 at Clarksville Funeral Home.  Pallbearers are; Jerry Luther, Teddy Smotherman, Gene Lampard, Tommy VanDeaver, Alan Bean, Bruce Emery, Billy Bob Hill and Don Eudy.  Burial is in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. 

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Earley of Clarksville.  They were married on July 20, 1947; sons, Roger Earley and wife Linda of Sumner, Steve Earley and wife Laura of Ft. Worth; daughter, Pam Luster of Clarksville; sister and brother in law, Vivian and Gordon Isbell of Rockwall; sister- in- law, Ethyleene Earley; grandchildren, Tommy, Mike, Amanada, James, Kris, Jennifer and Lori; great-grandchildren, Dakota, matt Luke, Dylan, Autumn, Gage, Gunter and Garen; friends and family too numerous to list.

She would say “I love you” and  “Thank You” for being here today to share in her homegoing celebration, and she looks forward to seeing you all again on the other side.  As friends on her favorite Gaither Videos often said, “See you at the house”.
