Mary Frances Wester
Mary Frances Wester age 92 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008, at ETMC Clarksville.
She was born on September 15, 1915 in the Tira Community of Hopkins County to W.C. and Zora Wood Davis.
She was a member of the McKenzie Memorial United Methodist Church, the Winmore Sunday school class, and retired from the Statler-Hilton Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Wester on February 3, 2000; two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wester will be Saturday, June 28, at 11:00 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel with Rev. Lew Stokes officiating. Visitation will be Friday night from 6 to 7 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are; Jeff, Michael and Zach Wester, Sean Hightower, C.J. and Taylor Higginbotham and Jackson Courtney. Honorary Pallbearers are members of the Winmore Sunday School Class. Graveside services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Tira Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include three sons; Gary Wester and wife Sandy of Clarksville, Danny Wester and wife Betty of Avery and Mike Wester and wife Ruth of Double Oak; one daughter, Sara Jo Couch and husband David of Desoto; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
