Pearlie Martin
Pearlie I. Martin, age 92 of Clarksville, died Monday, May 5 2008 at her residence.
She was born on March 16, 1916 in Haskell County, Texas to Frank James and Loney Denny Wright. She was a member of the Baptist Church, and a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Martin; son, Donald Martin; brother, Truman Wright.
Survivors include four sons; James Martin and wife Claudine of Dallas, Floyd Martin and wife Mary Jo of Plano, Thomas Martin and wife Dianne of Clarksville, Charles Martin and wife Mary of Clarksville; two daughters, Lucille Lollar of Clarksville, Cathy Phillips and husband Gary of Clarksville; 22 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Kellam and Rev. James Brown officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 7 to 8 at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
