Charles “C.B.” Fogleman

Charles “C.B.” Fogleman , 94  of  Powderly, and formally of the Boxelder Community, passed away at his residence Tuesday  April 29.

Mr. Fogleman was born in the Boxelder Community on October 2, 1913 to Ernie and Neal Boze Fogleman.  He was retired from Bell Helicopter, loved sports and reading.  He was a member and Deacon of the Salem Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Neal Chaney; two sisters and one brother.

Survivors included his wife, Alta Janell Fogleman of Powderly; son, David Verdecanna of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter, Shelly Hoskins and husband Joey of Powderly; sister, Deanie Floyd of Boxelder; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a very special friend and caregiver, Opal Preston.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Bro. John Griswood officiating.  Visitation will be an hour before service time at the funeral home.  Pallbearers are, Larry Cornell, James Dean Floyd, Herbert Harmon, J.L. O’Neal, Michael Wisdom and Tim Shimpock. Burial will follow in Boxelder Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
