Beulah Faye Shirley Griggs
Beulah Faye Shirley Griggs, age 78, of Clarksville, died Sunday, April 13,
2008, in Clarksville Nursing Center.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at
Leesville Cemetery with Rev. Jimmie Ellis and Rev. James Brown officiating.
Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Griggs was born in Red River County on August 18, 1929, to Luther and
Viole Pate Sewell. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother,
Iva Sewell; first husband, Kermit Shirley and second husband, J. R. Griggs.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Pauline Moore, Clarksville; one nephew,
Billy and wife Dianne Moore, Bagwell, Texas; one niece, Brenda Raney, Simms,
Texas; and several cousins.
