Annie Joice Hunt Rushing
Annie Joice Hunt Rushing, age 71 of Clarksville, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, in ETMC Clarksville.
Mrs. Rushing was born in San Augustine County, Texas on February 23, 1937 to Edward Dewey and Iva Lee Willis Hunt. She married Lonnie Maurice Rushing and he preceded her in death in 1998. She attended the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Lonnie Rushing, Jr. of Clarksville; a daughter, Karen Leigh Anderson of Farmersville; sister, Mabel Lee Walpole of Frisco; brother, Dewey Hunt; grandchildren, Krystal Nicole Garrison, Chet and Lexi Rushing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rushing will be Monday, April 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Visitation will be Sunday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. Monday in Restland Cemetery Dallas, under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
