Verna Mae Metts
Verna Mae Metts, age 83 of Clarksville, died Tuesday, April 8 in ETMC Clarksville. She was born in Detroit, on June 6, 1924 to Charley and Pearl Harper Stanley. He was of the Penticostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Metts on March 4, 1999 and a son, John Wesley Metts.
Survivors include one son, Richard Metts of Clarksville; three granddaughters, Christy Bryand, Ginger Watts of Tyler and Courtney Metts of Tyler.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. in Annona Cemetery with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
