Donald McGee
Congratulations to Donald McGee, age 68 of the English Community in Red River County, who went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at his residence.
He was born on October 31, 1939 in the English Community to Arnold and Opal Phelps McGee.
He served his country during the Vietnam War and was a retired Air Force Sargent. He loved music, farming and the outdoors.
Survivors include his daughter, Melanie Logue and husband Kevin of Peoria, AZ; two sons, Darryl McGee and Kevin McGee both of Ridgecrest, CA; a sister Eulavee Hines and husband Billy Ray of Clarksville; 7 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, April 12 at 11:30 a.m. at the English Cemetery with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Larry and Brian Goodwin, James Paul Stiles, Paul and Jeff Hines, Tom Quillin and Jamie Pittman. Burial in in English Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
