Dorothy Jean Coffman Garrison
Dorothy Jean Coffman Garrison, age 79 a loving wife, mother and “granny”,of Dallas, formerly of Avery, died Monday, March 24, 2008, in Presbyterian Hospital in Plano.
Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by her husband, James Garrison; two sisters, Pauline Barnes and Maycel Hall; two brothers, M.T. Coffman and Ed Coffman.
Mrs. Garrison was born in Annona on April 15, 1928 to Sam and Lela Hunt Coffman.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the English Cemetery with the Rev. Denny Mackey officiating, arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include 1 son, Mike Garrison and wife Kay of Carrollton; one daughter, Linda Westbrook of Carrollton; one sister, Maxine Mathis of Sulphur, OK, three brothers, Frank Coffman of Detroit, Charles Coffman of Ft. Worth and Jack Coffman of Decatur; grandchildren, Michelle Blount, Shanna Tucker, Ashley Garrison and Lisa Ledesma; great-grandchildren, Lane and Cayce Ledesma, and that mean little Parker Blunt.
